The Ball will be lowered just South of Michigan Street on Monroe Ave.

Are tickets needed for this event? Can I purchase a ticket to see the Ball Drop?

General Admission tickets are free and will be available at ticket stop locations starting in October. There will be 4 tickets given away to each person. This does not guarantee you entry if the secured location has filled up. Stay tuned for ticket stops starting in October.

When should I get there?

The earlier you arrive the better!

What security procedures are in place?

No bags allowed, every person will be patted down and wanded.

What should I wear and what should I bring?

Even though the tents are heated, dress as warm as possible so you can remain warm when walking throughout the event.

Will there be portable public restrooms available?

Yes, they will be scattered through the footprint.

Will there be beer, wine and spirits sold?

Yes, there will be multiple bars throughout the footprint
